We arrived back home from spring break to find two large packages of donated Legos from the Setteducatis in New York.  We will get to work cleaning and distributing them soon.  The last few months have been quiet at RePlay as we have been tending to the health of our son, but he is doing much better and we are ready to jump back into the Lego world.  Thanks so much for your donation. We greatly appreciate it and know the kids who receive them will as well.

Nice shout out in the Refuge Services of Texas newsletter today.  We are so thrilled to partner with them.  We also just recently received a request for Lego boxes from Peru!  Sadly we've run through our last batch, so if you know anyone looking to unload some please tell them about RePlay.

Dave from RePlay!
RePlay is a great new non-profit that re-purposes donated Legos to be gifted to other non-profits!  They give the gift of creativity to our clients, check them out!

Owen and Dave recently made a trip to Seattle.  One of their favorite things to see on the trip was an exhibit at the Pacific Coast Science Center called The Art of the Brick.  Artist Nathan Sawaya has recreated famous art pieces using Lego bricks.  He also created many of his own unique pieces.  It is incredibly impressive and a great way to teach kids about art.   The biggest piece Owen and Dave viewed was a dinosaur skeleton made of 80,000 bricks. If you are ever near this exhibit be sure to check it out.  You can learn more at

This week we delivered our 3rd collection of little red RePlay boxes to Refuge Services of Texas.  15 boxes this time, bringing our total so far this summer to 57 boxes of joy for kids new to the U.S. Thank you to all of you who have contributed in some way to our cause.  We are now awaiting our next shipment of Legos to clean and distribute.  Please spread the word!

We're back at it again.  After some generous donations from the Barham family in North Carolina we have 28 RePlay boxes ready to go to Refugee Services of Central Texas.  Time to go spread a little joy to some kids!   And these days couldn't we all use a little joy.

Keep those Legos coming folks.  We can't get enough!!!

This week we made our first delivery of used Legos to the Refuge Services of Texas here in Austin. We delivered 14 boxes and they were quickly distributed that same day to refuge children.  Thanks to all of you for helping this dream become reality.  We couldn't do it without your generous contributions of used Legos.  More Legos have come in this week so we are back at work.
